Compuer issues

Yes, I’m still having them. They are primarily my own fault, it appears. Basically, the end story is that I changed out the motherboard, and I screwed up the install/re-install of Windows that I needed to do when I did that.
It was my own fault because… I did zip for research ahead of time. I only needed to read about, oh, one or two pages and would have known what to do, but in very typical guy fashion figured “I’ve done this before, no problemo, I’ll just whizzle the fernschancher and it’ll run like a dream.”
Not.
Anyway, I think I’m on the road to recovery now… but we’ll see. I did have the foresight some time ago to put nearly all of the data that matters onto one hard drive, and the OS and programs on another, so in an absolute worst-case scenario it should work out okay as I shouldn’t lose too much data.
And you know what? If I did… it’s nothing I can’t recreate. When I sold my house and moved to an apartment in the city, I discovered that going through all of my stuff and giving great bunches of it away was a very cleansing experience. I tend towards pack-rat-ism anyway, so maybe doing the same thing with a computer is a good idea.
