Ha, I have only one other person out there that has a name even close to mine...

Although with my luck, he'll be a serial killer or something else horrible.

...and now McCain is more or less publicly approving of Obama's Iraq policy, while trying to claim he's not, at the same time he's making incredibly lame and convoluted explanations about how he didn't know when his own Surge™ started.

There was a bit on The Daily Show which just perfectly encapsulated it: Obama in Germany, triumphant after his flawless Middle East tour, greeted by 200,000 people, chanting his name and "Yes We Can!" ... and McCain walking down a supermarket aisle where a clerk precipitates a tin can avalanche. That after speaking in front of the cheese section, and before going to the "Fudge Haus."

Like you say, it is beyond belief that *anyone* can see McCain as a viable candidate. It has to be (a) die-hard Republicans who would vote for a demented orangutan instead of vote Democratic, (b) people who cannot bring themselves to vote for a black man no matter what the choices, and (c) people who simply have been following the media's lead, in that the media have been covering for McCain big-time, propping him up, buying his propaganda, biting into Obama at the slightest nudge while forgiving McCain huge blunders, and just generally hiding the fact that McCain is so lame as to be unbelievable. I mean, CBS getting a huge story about McCain getting wrong the basic history of the Surge™ and then editing it to hide his mistake? That's even more blatant than how the media handled the Maliki story.

Even so, that so many people fall into those categories is a bit frightening.

So? Did you get it? Didja? Didja? :-)

Actually, the 2.0 Firmware upgrade seems a bit buggy to me--too many crashes, and memory management problems that lead to 15-second keyboard pauses, unless you shut down and restart once o twice a day. Other than that, as my wife can attest, I love the little gadget. Not that you'd notice from reading my blog....
